Legal Status and Compliance

Love & Chat is an Indian social networking and dating application. As an "intermediary" under the Information Technology Act, 2000, we comply with the following Indian laws:

• Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007

Jurisdiction

• All legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
• We follow procedural rules set by the Allahabad High Court, including its Lucknow Bench.

User Agreement

1. Provide accurate and truthful information.
2. Use the app only for lawful purposes.
3. Comply with Indian laws relating to decency, morality, and public order.
4. Respect the dignity of other users.
5. Misuse may result in account termination and legal action.

User Content

• Ownership: Users retain ownership of their content.
• License: You grant Love & Chat a non-exclusive license to use and distribute your content.
• Responsibility: You are responsible for compliance with Indian law.

Intellectual Property

• Trademarks: "Love & Chat" and related logos are trademarks.
• Copyright: All content is protected under Indian copyright law.
• Infringement: Unauthorized use will lead to legal action.

Data Protection and Privacy

• We comply with the DPDP Act, 2023.
• User data is collected to enhance service quality.
• Security measures are in place per Section 43A and related IT Rules.
• Data may be shared with service providers, not sold or rented without consent.

User & Listener Conduct Guidelines

1. Prohibited Activities:
   • Harassment (BNS Sections 75, 78, 79)
   • Spamming (IT Act Section 66A)
   • Explicit content sharing (BNS Sections 294, 296)
2. Reporting: Users should report violations to our support team.
3. Financial Transactions: Prohibited on the platform, including QR code scanning.

Content Moderation and User Safety

• We moderate unlawful and obscene content (Sections 66, 66D, 66E, 67, 67A, 67B of IT Act).
• We offer reporting tools and work with law enforcement.
• We follow Intermediary Guidelines 2021 and other cyber safety laws.

Termination

• Accounts can be suspended or terminated for violations.
• Notice will be provided unless urgent harm prevention is needed.
